General Description
This half ton van is white with some miscellaneous gray, silver and black stripes and modest graphics. Began as a standard length (not long or short) SLT model that has the great 5.9 liter V8 (360) and automatic with overdrive. Includes power and convenience features such as: power windows, locks and mirrors; tilt wheel and cruise control; CD stereo; chrome bumpers, grill and fancy trim features inside and out and also factory chrome wheels.

Touring/Cruising conversion
Was converted with a very fancy cruising/touring package when new by a major, national custom convertor named "Regency". This included features such as: moderately tall, contoured roof; large fancy side windows; faux-leather grey seats; rear seat power-folds into a bed, which has a clever piece that creates a bed that is the approximate size of a household "double" size bed; extensive real wood interior trim; rear ventilation system; interior storage areas; large TV; plus more.

Mobility and Adaptive Features
When it was a few years old, this was modified to become a wheelchair van. Plus, now we are adding to it. When ready for sale, it will include:

* Quality lift: from industry leader, Braun. Contains a 3-part power-folding lift platform that allows able-bodied folks to easily go in and out when lift is stowed. Platform will accommodate most wheelchairs

* Special floor project: this will have what is one of my favorite improvements on wheelchair vans, which is very helpful to the person in the wheelchair and able-bodied folks as well. I consider this feature to be an improvement that most wheelchair vans ought to have, old or new. You see, if you pay close attention to how floors typically are in personal use wheelchair vans, you will notice that they are usually not actually solid, smooth and level. Rather, they are somewhat lumpy, bumpy and not as easy to maneuver a wheelchair on as they can be. This is because the factory metal floor of a van is not actually smooth, it has ridges and contours...plus has a carpet pad which wheelchair wheels sink into a bit, creating resistance to maneuvering. Based on my specifications and design, this floor will be greatly improved beyond the original floor treatment by removing the existing carpet and pad and then installing wood directly over the lumpy, bumpy, contoured metal floor. It will become a smooth, solid, level floor. Then a quality type of commercial rubber-like flooring will be used to cover the wood. This material is tough and easy to clean. This van has will have this new flooring package, which notably improves the interior function of the van for everyone.

* This van will include 4 anchor points for securing a wheelchair in the middle area of the van.

* Anchor straps: will include 4 quality anchor straps for securing the wheelchair to the floor

Summary
Has very low miles. And with the combination of fancy touring/cruising conversion AND the wheelchair-access conversion, this is quite an attractive, desirable, functional and hard to find van, especially in this price range.
