Mobility and Adaptive Features
When new, this received a major package of mobility features. This was performed by a quality shop that only does projects that meet stringent standards, as set by the national agency NMEDA (north American medical equipment dealers association). Here is a list of the primary components of the mobility conversion

* Wheelchair lift: this has my most favorite mobility feature that any van can have, which is the absolute best lift ever created, called a "UVL", which is an acronym for, under vehicle lit. This lift, produced by industry giant Braun, is hard to describe but its benefit is obvious and clear. Simply put, this lift is neatly stored under the van and is only visible when being utilized, via switches in several locations. It has great capacity, which is 800 pounds and the platform is long and wide to accommodate even large people and wheelchairs. When stowed, this lift creates no blockage of the doorway whatsoever. Therefore, there is no interior area being wasted due to the lift being parking inside the doorway. This style of lift is in less than 5 percent of all wheelchair vans, primarily due to its new cost being more than $10,000! This lift is the cat's pajamas, for sure!

* Power opening side doors: has two side doors that open with switches. This combo of power doors and lift allow some folks in wheelchair to load, drive and unload themselves, with no assistance.

* Power "Turning seat": has a special mechanism mounted under the seat that allows the drivers seat to have extreme travel up and down, front to back, and most notably, it turns apx 90 degrees. This allows certain folks to be able to transfer from their wheelchair and into the drivers seat. Even if you don't need this feature, it comes in handy for making access to the middle and rear of the van easier.

* Special floor project: NEW: this will have what is one of my favorite improvements on wheelchair vans, which is very helpful to the person in the wheelchair and able-bodied folks as well. I consider this feature to be an improvement that most wheelchair vans ought to have, old or new. You see, if you pay close attention to how floors typically are in personal use wheelchair vans, you will notice that they are usually not actually solid, smooth and level. Rather, they are somewhat lumpy, bumpy and not as easy to maneuver a wheelchair on as they can be. This is because the factory metal floor of a van is not actually smooth, it has ridges and contours...plus has a carpet pad which wheelchair wheels sink into a bit, creating resistance to maneuvering. We remove that existing carpet and pad and then install a sheet of wood directly over the lumpy, bumpy, contoured metal floor. And it becomes a smooth, solid, level floor. Then fantastic rubber-like flooring is used to cover the wood. This very heavy-duty material is tough and easy to clean. This van will have this new flooring package, which notably improves the interior function of the van for everyone.

* Floor anchor points and straps: Includes 4 NEW anchor point units that are ready to be installed in the location where you choose to install them once you have acclimated to the van and know where you want them to be. Also includes 4 anchor straps.

Summary
with the hard-to-find UVL style of lift and very nice miles, plus other helpful, desirable features, this one presents an appealing mix. Plus, it’s a very attractive color and fancy and comfortable inside. This will be a very nice addition to someone's family.

Dear Rick... I want to take this time to let you know how excited I am about the 95 Ford camping van that I bought from you. I just love it!! I truly appreciated your kindness, patience and understanding throughout the whole process. I also appreciate the quality of the van. You were nothing like those typical car salesman. You were friendly, cheerful and not pushy....and still gave me a great deal!!! I will certainly send folks your way.

Thanks again!
