Options and Equipment THE VAN: This is a GL model Windstar which has the 3.8 six cylinder and automatic with overdrive transmission. There is common power and convenience features of windows, locks, tinted windows, power rear vent windows, cruise control, power mirrors, etc. And it does have optional dual A/C, cassette stereo and alloy wheels. THE GOODIES: Has nice pin striping. MOBILITY: This is a VMI, also known as Vantage, conversion. It is certainly the number one or two highest quality brand of such conversions. It has what is the desirable package of: deeply lowered floor; power sliding door; power ramp; kneeling air suspension. It does also have what is called a "gate feature" on the ramp which allows it to swing out at 80 degrees to allow passengers to enter and exit without need for operating the ramp. The ramp, suspension and slider door are all operable via switches on the dash, or by magnetic switches in the taillight and also by wireless remote control on the key fob. Dimensions, capacity and specifications: Please feel free to email or call me with any such questions. I will gladly assist with anything you wish to know. I have discovered that due to the unique way each person evaluates, measures and expresses their needs, I can be most helpful regarding this subject if we communicate directly. History of Ownership This was owned since new by a retired police detective who passed away a few months ago. I bought it from his daughter. He babied it and based on its overall condition and amazing paint quality its clear that it was garaged since new (as his daughter assured me).
History of Care When I get vans from an estate (family members of the deceased owner) they usually don't have receipts for the history of care. Such is the case with this van. However, as with each of my vans it has been extensively inspected and serviced and various items were attended to which were recommended. Of course, with such low miles it has not needed anything major, only common service items. It now runs, drives and performs fantastic...as a person would hope for a van with these very low miles. Each of my vans receives a detailed (about 75 items) inspection by the general mechanic shop which I consider to be the finest in my area. Then, after discussing their report, I have them do what is needed to repair, replace or service items on the vehicle in order to reach my high standard of overall mechanical condition. This is a major element of my "Rick's rejuvenated" process. In addition: as part of my 'Rick's rejuvenated'' process, each mobility/adaptive component is inspected, serviced, adjusted and repaired (if needed) by a different mechanic, who owns the premium company in this area which exclusively cares for wheelchair vans.
Carfax Report
Summary Nothing negative or derogatory on the report You Might Like To Know... * Windstar vans are a bit roomier inside than the Dodge Caravan, which is one benefit of this van versus the Caravans which represent about 70-80% of all minivan wheelchair vans. * This is a strong, modern style motor which has more power than most other minivans, such as the Caravans. * Each of my vans has a superb paint sealant as the final step of the extreme detail. If you were to have a professional apply a treatment the cost would be several hundred dollars. Summary of this Gem This beautiful, fully-featured, one owner van with super low miles is surely at the top of the desirability list when it comes to affordable used wheelchair vans. And as with every van I sell, it has been extensively serviced and rejuvenated. It runs, functions and feels as good as it looks.
