Options and Equipment THE VAN: This began as a well-equipped SE model that has a 3.9 liter 6 cylinder and overdrive transmission and comes with added factory options. Features include: nifty factory installed rear DVD/audio system; power windows, locks and mirrors; tilt wheel; cruise control; front and rear ventilation with 'tri-zone' rear controls; tinted windows; front bucket seats with armrests GOODIES: custom striping MOBILITY: When new, this was converted by an industry leader called Ricon, at their "VMI" (Vantage Mobility Industries) division. It now has the following mobility features: * Deeply lowered floor creates wonderful entry clearance and interior headroom. Also, the deeply lowered floor creates a ramp angle that is suitable for most users. * Both front seat assemblies have quick-release mechanisms which allow removal or installation in a couple of minutes with little effort, strength or skill. This feature allows for parking a wheelchair in either front location, if desired. * I had the professional shop remove the original power ramp system. That has now been replaced with a brand new, custom-built, all aluminum, heavy-duty manual ramp. This ramp includes an "assist device" which allow even a person with little strength or dexterity to open and close it with no problem. (please watch video to observe its easy operation) * there are many anchor point locations throughout the van for using straps to anchor a wheelchair to the floor Dimensions, capacity and specifications: Please feel free to email or call me with any such questions. I will gladly assist with anything you wish to know. I have discovered that due to the unique way each person evaluates, measures and expresses their needs, I can be most helpful regarding this subject if we communicate directly.
History of Ownership Has had only two owners, of approximately equal duration. This was used first as an occasional transport for people in wheelchairs who were being assisted by a certain social-services organization. Second, it was used not as a wheelchair van but as general transportation for a middle-aged couple.
Certified This vehicle is 'CERTIFIED': There are a combined 76 mechanical and cosmetic aspects included in the Wheelchair Van Oasis "Certification" process. A foundational step of the rejuvenation process is when each vehicle receives an extensive inspection by an objective, independent third- party service and repair facility. Suggested service, repairs and improvements are then performed by various professional specialists. The result is your assurance that each of the 76 aspects meets or exceeds the condition level of good, or satisfactory For details regarding list of 76 cosmetic and mechanical aspects, please click here.
Each van does of
course have

Carfax Report
Summary Nothing notably negative or unusual: no frame damage...no airbags deployed...no structural damage...no "red marks"...no major accident. You Might Like To Know... * Each of my vans has a superb paint sealant as the final step of the extreme detail. If you were to have a professional apply a treatment the cost would be several hundred dollars. * The "Freestar" model replaced the "Windstar", which had been a popular minivan for many years. However, the Freestar is a vastly improved and modernized, better van, as compared to the Windstar. * This van is now deliberately equipped in such a way as to have absolutely no maintenance, repair or service needed of its mobility features. With no power ramp, no power door and no kneeling suspension...there is nothing to fail, break or cause trouble. And yet, due to the deeply lowered floor, new custom ramp, and other mobility features...this van is very capable of loading, unloading and safely carrying most wheelchair-bound folks. Summary of this Gem I am pleased to have the opportunity to offer such a modern, low mile, lowered floor minivan as this, which is in "Certified" condition, at a price below $20,000. This is a super value. If you don't require the mobility features to be power operated, this could be the perfect van for you.
