equipped wheelchair van
I have ever had the
pleasure of offering

Options and Equipment THE VAN: Began as a 1/2 ton, standard length with 5.8 (351) engine. It originally had an XLT level of comfort and convenience features such as: power windows, locks and mirrors, tilt, cruise and stereo. Also had chrome bumpers, factory alloy wheels, and more. GOODIES: When it was new it was created by a conversion specialist into a fancy tall roof van, with the specific goal of being a very highly functional, as well as attractive, wheelchair van. And so, it has the moderately tall roof, contoured...not giant and boxy. Also includes big picture windows with vents. Has useful and attractive running boards (full length side steps) and fancy wheel-opening moldings and fancy rear spare tire carrier system. Plus, there is some additional interior lighting and wood trim and rear ventilation. And so, this is a fancy van of the nature most folks would call a conversion van of the "touring" or "cruising" nature. And now we move on to the super-level of mobility/adaptive features. MOBILITY:
Dimensions, capacity and specifications: Please feel free to email or call me with any such questions. I will gladly assist with anything you wish to know. I have discovered that due to the unique way each person evaluates, measures and expresses their needs, I can be most helpful regarding this subject if we communicate directly.
History of Ownership Only two families have owned this. The first family had it built to allow someone who was considered to be a quad (yes, quad) to be fully independent. The second family (who I bought it from) also needed it for a quad to use in order to be fully independent. And so most recently this van was driven for several years by a young woman in her early 20's, who became a quad as a result of a freak auto accident. Certified This vehicle is 'CERTIFIED': There are a combined 76 mechanical and cosmetic aspects included in the Wheelchair Van Oasis "Certification" process. A foundational step of the rejuvenation process is when each vehicle receives an extensive inspection by an objective, independent third- party service and repair facility. Suggested service, repairs and improvements are then performed by various professional specialists. The result is your assurance that each of the 76 aspects meets or exceeds the condition level of good, or satisfactory For details regarding list of 76 cosmetic and mechanical aspects, please click here.

Carfax Report
Summary Nothing notably negative or unusual: no frame damage...no airbags deployed...no structural damage...no "red marks"...no major accident.
You Might Like To Know... * Ford vans from 1992-2006 have almost the same design, in fact, most folks would hardly notice the difference between vans of that wide age range. This one has had many visual upgrades, and is immaculate inside and out, and so it seems to be MUCH newer than its calendar age indicates. * Each of my vans has a superb paint sealant as the final step of the extreme detail. If you were to have a professional apply a treatment the cost would be several hundred dollars. Summary of this Gem Wow, this is such a unique, special van, and with such low miles. My hope is that a family discovers this van who needs much or all of the long list of features it has. In today's market, it would cost around $90,000 dollars to re-create this van, as it is currently equipped ! And of course, as with each van I offer, it is in absolutely amazing "Certified" mechanical and cosmetic condition, in every way. Please look closely at the photos and read the captions...because there is much to see and discover. |
