Options and Equipment

THE VAN:  This began as a Limited model, which fewer than 1% of production are.  Engine is a 3.8 liter and has automatic with overdrive. This has a long list of wonderful features, in addition to more common functions such as power windows and locks, tilt and cruise and more.  It also has traits such as: perforated leather seats;  16 inch alloy wheels;  amazing JBL CD sound system;  dual heat and A/C;  power seat with lumbar;  fog lights, and much more.

THE GOODIES:  Custom graphics on the sides really dress it up and make it extra sharp.

MOBILITY:  This was converted when new by one of the premium conversion companies call  Vantage, also known as VMI.  This company is a portion of Ricon, which is second only to Braun when it comes to selling mobility equipment and converted vans.  The major features of this conversion are:

 * Deeply lowered and level floor, goes all the way from the front edge of rear seat all the way to the dash.

*  Power ramp of the 'in-floor' style, which is my favorite.  This ramp disappears under the floor when not in use.  I like this style more than the more common ramp which folds into two parts and is stowed in the doorway area

*  Has kneeling suspension which lowers the body several inches, creating a very shallow, easy ramp angle for loading and unloading

* Power sliding side door is smooth and no effort

* Lots of anchor points in the floor for a variety of choices as to where you locate the wheelchair

* Easily removable front seats, for if you choose to park a wheelchair in either the front passenger, or driver location.

* Has the very desirable feature called a 'power transfer seat' in the drivers area.  As you see in the photos, it allows for significant movement and repositioning to allow for a person in a wheelchair to easily transfer in and out of the front seat in order to be able to drive.

Dimensions, capacity and specifications: Please feel free to email or call me with any such questions. I will gladly assist with anything you wish to know. I have discovered that due to the unique way each person evaluates, measures and expresses their needs, I can be most helpful regarding this subject if we communicate directly.

History of Ownership

Has had only two owners, other than a few thousand miles in the middle of its life.  Has been in dry, sunny, rust-free southern California for most of its life.

History of Care

I suppose the best way to describe its condition and history is to explain that when I acquired this, I drove 700 miles, including in dense Los Angeles traffic and up over the grapevine hills without a single problem.  This was prior to doing even on bit of repair or maintenance.  And of course now that it has been rejuvenated it is in absolutely top condition in every way.

Each of my vans receives a detailed (about 75 items) inspection by the general mechanic shop which I consider to be the finest in my area. Then, after discussing their report, I have them do what is needed to repair, replace or service items on the vehicle in order to reach my high standard of overall mechanical condition.  And in case you may wonder, their process on each van does include an oil, lube and filter service.  The aforementioned inspection, repair and service process is a major and very valuable element of my "Rick's rejuvenated" process.

As a result of the above mentioned process, here is a list of some items which were cared for by the shop I speak of:

* Wiper blades front and rear

* Heater system serviced

* Cooling system flush

* Transmission service and flush

* new rear primary shocks

* new rear air suspension bag

Valuable note: only a few thousand miles ago the folks I acquired this van from had spent nearly $1,500 on it.  This included such items as: new front AND rear brakes; new front suspension parts; alignment and more

In addition: as part of my 'Rick's rejuvenated'' process, each mobility/adaptive component is inspected, serviced, adjusted and repaired (if needed) by a different mechanic, who owns the premium company in this area which exclusively cares for wheelchair vans.

Carfax Report Summary

(Carfax is a widely used database which indicates the history of a vehicle including accidents, prior owners, etc.)

Nothing negative or derogatory on the report.

You Might Like To Know...

* This has a very beautiful and special paint, only available on the Limited model.  It has lots of 'pearl' in it, which makes it look blue in some light and green in others....sharp!

* Each of my vans has a superb paint sealant as the final step of the extreme detail. If you were to have a professional apply a treatment the cost would be several hundred dollars.

Summary of this Gem

The combination of rare loaded Limited model, and very desirable conversion by VMI and also such low miles and fully rejuvenated makes this a quite wonderful and exceptional van.  Especially desirable because of the very affordable price range.  I'm sure this one will sell very quickly as lowered floor minivans converted by premium companies are the most sought-after of all wheelchair vans.
