History of Ownership: Carfax indicates no rental, lease, or commercial history. Has had only private owners since new.
Recent functional care: at apx 89,000 it had major professional brakes on front and rear. And the AC system was serviced (blows cold/works great)
Carfax Report: this DOES have a marked/salvage Arizona title (see photo) It is 100% legit and, in my name, and ready to sell. It was light damage to the front only. Everything is original paint, except for the bumper only (see photos before damage was repaired)
About the repaired damage: people sell vehicles that had damage that resulted in a salvage title, but virtually none of those people will show photos before the repairs were done. But I am. It is very notable that the following are the actual, original factory parts, which have not been repaired, painted or modified: hood and both fenders (still have the original VIN stickers and all other stickers on them); cooling; radiator support; engine; frame rails; inner aprons; suspensions; etc. It ran and drove before any repairs occurred. There was ZERO straightening needed of any structural pieces. And 100% of the parts installed were brand new. No used parts. I have the receipts for the New Parts, such as: front bumper pieces; bumper reinforcing bar; both headlights. That's nearly all of what occurred. Other than that short list of new parts, there were only a few miscellaneous items such as the Kia badge, couple minor bumper trim pieces, etc.
Summary: This is a very nice car, with low miles, that had minor damage and has been repaired nicely. And so why am I selling it for such a low price? When my wife and I bought this, we had no intention of re-selling it. It was for our use. Now we are selling it because although we intended to drive it for many years, very sadly for us, immediately after the repairs were completed and we had the new tire and wheels, plus the calipers pro-painted, we learned that a ticking/clicking sound in the motor is apparently not a minor issue. And we don’t have anywhere safe to store it until we can afford to get it diagnosed and fixed. It starts, idles, runs and drives fine. All features of the car work fine. It's a very nice, attractive car in great overall condition. It's obvious it has never been abused. This will be a super car at a great price for someone who has the talent to repair the motor or has a friend or family member who can.
Absolutely brand-new tires and wheels and pro prepped and painted calipers
Beautiful interior is in amazing condition
(the E on the EX badge is missing)
Digital dash is on this fancy EX model
clear, proper title in my name
my driver’s license properly matches the name on the title
2011 kia Optima EX (fancy model), 95,000 miles. These photos show the car before anything was visually improved other than removing the bumper. These are the original fenders and hood, which needed no repairs.
Notice the gap between original fender and door was perfect.
This original bumper reinforcing bar was a bit bent and is now a new part. Right headlight only had broken attaching points. Both headlights are now new parts. Zero structural damage. Original cooling.
Notice all gaps, where hood, fender, and door each meet, was perfect.
